Just when all seemed to be lost Sherry's condition seemed to improve and she was allowed day leave. Sherry visited me many times and she really did seem to have improved. Her doctors were so sure of her progress that plans were made to move Sherry into less secure accommodation, her section was lifted and she was to move to a care home in Burnley where she would have open access.
The move did not happen overnight but turned out to be a long process involving many visits there by Sherry. This seemed to stress Sherry and she began to think that the staff at the care home were talking about her.
All this stress finaly proved too much for Sherry and she had a relapse and told staff at Guild Lodge that she was suicidal again. Sherry described to staff in detail how she meant to go about killing herself and this led to her being re sectioned.
With Sherry back on a section she had lost her place at the new home. Staff informed her of this fact and understandably Sherry felt more than ever that all hope was lost and she was right back at the beginning.
